Half the filings reached the public record within 28.5 days of the trade; the slowest took 116 days. Every figure here comes from the members’ own disclosures — no prices, no performance.

The one that behaves differently

Berkshire stands out in the filings because it is usually a long-term holding, not a trade. Filings tend to be fewer and further apart than for the large technology names, and often come from members who have held it for years.

Berkshire has two share classes: the Class A share, which has never been split and trades in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the far more affordable Class B. Congressional filings are almost entirely Class B — Class A is out of reach for a normal portfolio. This page counts both, so a Class A filing would appear here too.

By trade date, not filing date — a trade can appear in a filing months later. A month without a filing is shown with a zero, so a quiet stretch stays visible as one. The most recent month runs only to 27 Oct 2026 and is therefore incomplete.
